Reorganisation of RGI GROUP to accelerate its expansion into international markets

11 March 2013

Local management will be provided through the coordination of Country Managers reporting to the group’s CEO, for the development of the reference markets

After a successful first phase marking the start of an international strategy, the RGI Group is undergoing reorganisation to accelerate the process of growth and expansion abroad.
The reorganisation envisages local management under Country Managers for Italy (Davide Scaravaggi), France (Mario Bosco, interim), Germany (Pierre Dubosq), UK (Stefano Chini) and the Maghreb area (Rahim Ghodhbane), who will report to the Group’s CEO.
The Administration and Finance staff, HR, Marketing, R&D, IT and System Integration International Project departments will report to the Group’s CEO and will provide support at Corporate Cross-Country level.
The individual Country Managers will be responsible for developing and managing the reference markets.

“The first phase, in which we concluded projects with insurance companies on our Policy Administration platform “Pass” has ended successfully,” declared Vito Rocca, CEO of RGI GROUP. “We have now gone live and are supporting operations in France, Ireland and Belgium. In the meantime, other projects have been launched in the Maghreb area, in Tunisia. This reorganisation has given rise to a second phase on international markets based on an ISV strategy, in which we will be offering a Partner&Alliance programme, which will allow us to access the international markets together with selected solid and reliable partners. Moreover,” continued Rocca, “we are not excluding the entry into the shareholding side of a new financial partner with a significant international presence and the capability to support us in this growth phase. In Italy we closed out an excellent financial 2012 year and all signs point to us continuing along the same path in 2013, despite the current economic situation. Our value proposition on the Digital Company and multi-channel Front End as a facilitator of business models in the various sales channels is proving to be extremely successful."

RGI Group is one of the most dynamic companies on the Italian ITC scene with over 25 years’ experience and a leading position in the provision of software products and technological services specifically for the insurance sector.
