Ostangler Insurances too rely on cloud solutions from NOVUM-RGI in their digitization process

Ostangler Brandgilde, one of the oldest independent property insurance companies in Germany, also relies on the NOVUM Cloud Platform for the development of a modern customer and agent portal and will make the portal available to its customers and agents by the end of this year.

Based on Vportal, the standard portal solution of NOVUM-RGI, the existing agent portal of Ostangler has been replaced by an innovative, cloud-based portal within just a few months, thus creating a secure basis for the future. The use of the NOVUM Cloud Platform enables future functional extensions and scalability in the shortest time possible without large investments.

The cloud-based portal solution not only integrates the agents into Ostangler’s digitalization process, but also increasingly focuses on customers. Integrating all insurance customers will facilitiate an optimized customer service in the future and ensure maximum transparency. Each customer will be able to access his contracts and policies and to view his claims and insurance status anytime from anywhere in the world via a customized account.

"Using the solutions of NOVUM-RGI, we were able to develop a modern customer and agent portal in a very short time, which will not only simplify the daily work of our approx. 800 agents, but also transparently integrate our approx. 80,000 customers into our processes. An extension of the functional range is already being planned. In the next step, functions for secure communication between customers or agents and the Ostangler as well as extended evaluation options for all sales partners are going be integrated into the portal.
