RGI acquires 100% of Unimatica-RGI

RGI, European leader in the digital transformation of the insurance sector, has acquired the entire share capital of Unimatica-RGI, one of the main players in Italy in electronic signature and legally compliant archiving services.

Founded in Bologna in 2000, Unimatica-RGI offers secure digital solutions including e-signatures and dematerialisation, with the aim of making all business processes paperless by eliminating paper documents at source. It joined RGI Group in 2010 and with over 4.700 Public Institutions and 70.000 private clients, among which Insurers, Banking Institutions, Utility firms, Public Administrations and Healthcare, it is one of the most important and prominent companies for cloud applications in Italy.

By becoming its sole shareholder, RGI has now completed the full acquisition of Unimatica-RGI, after having been the majority shareholder since 2019. The investment represents a further opportunity for growth and consolidation for Unimatica-RGI and the entire Group, in line with the strategic plan of integration and synergy promoted by RGI Group.
